VADXX ENERGY INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY
RECYCLING WASTE PLASTIC TO ECOFUEL
FIRST CONTINUOUS WASTE PLASTIC TO ECOFUELFACILITY IN AKRON, OHIO USA
Vadxx Energy (www.vadxx.com; Cleveland, OH USA)
Vadxx recycles waste plastic and produces high value EcoFuels (diesel, naphtha). There is enough waste plastic feedstock being disposed of in landfill at cost, just in the USA, for 1500 Vadxx plants (each plant takes in 25,000 tons/yr plastic and produces 125,000 bbls/yr). Vadxx commercial plant #1 (Akron, OH USA) is expected to begin first production mid year 2016 (see details below). Rockwell Automation (Fortune 500) provided the principal process design, engineering and construction of the facility. Vadxx’s business plan is to achieve operating break-even of $20/bbl. Details are in the equity prospectus. This is a lower all in oil production cost than almost all traditional "drill bit and refining" fuel production. In addition, Vadxx EcoFuels are pursuing the USA Alternative Fuel Tax Credits worth $21/barrel. Assuming $50 long-term oil prices, the returns for future Vadxx units are expected to be exceptional. Vadxx provides far more economically attractive EcoFuel production with better environmental attributes than most traditional oil production. The Vadxx solution helps minimize a growing world concern of waste plastic polluting our oceans and waterways.
Vadxx Business Model
As is the case with Akron, OH USA plant, all Vadxx plants throughout the world will be project financed and 100% owned by investors (mostly private equity firms). The Vadxx business model is to implement new plants via sales of technology licenses (along with royalties on revenues) to private investors who will project finance new units in all parts of the world. Project economics will support substantial up front technology licensing fees paid to Vadxx. After strong cash flow is generated, Vadxx may invest in its own units. It is expected that capital costs for Vadxx plants will fall after the first Akron plant is implemented at a cost of $20 mil. In August, American Chemistry Council (ACC) members (large oil and chemical companies) will be provided a tour of Akron plant facilitated by ACC. Vadxx is an ACC member.
Vadxx Commercial Unit #1, Akron, OH USA ,100% owned by Liberation Capital, private equity firm. LibCap has already made $20 mil project investment in the plant with an option on additional plants. Vadxx operates the Akron plant and shares in cash flow. Unit #1 comes on line with first commercial production mid year 2016. Trial runs occurred in 2015 and improvements were made following that. 10 year contracts are signed for fuel.
Equity Raise
Vadxx has raised $20 mil of project capital in past and $8 mil of operating capital. Now, Vadxx is raising another $6 mil of equity primarily for marketing and business expenses to begin technology sales for future units around the world. The Vadxx business model is to bring cash flow in quickly via the technology sale strategy, which should minimize the need to raise equity in the future. Detailed prospectus available for accredited investors after NDA is signed. Vadxx is in discussions or exchanging terms for units in North America, Asia, Europe and Africa.
